Program Name: City of Orange Type B Economic Development Fund

Geographic Scope: Properties located within city limits of Orange, Texas

Program Overview: Local economic incentives available through the City of Orange Type B Economic Development Fund for qualifying business projects.

Evaluation Criteria

Projects are evaluated based on:

• Capital Investment: Total financial investment in the project
• Sales Tax Contribution: Projected sales tax revenue generated by the business
• Job Creation: Number and type of jobs created by the project

• Property must be located within city limits of Orange, Texas
• Property eligibility must be confirmed before proceeding

Application Process

1. Confirm Property Eligibility
   • Ensure property is located within city limits of Orange
   • Contact EDC staff to verify property designation and eligibility
2. Schedule One-on-One Consultation
   • Once location is confirmed within city limits, EDC will arrange a consultation meeting
   • Meet to discuss project in greater detail
3. Project Evaluation
   • During consultation, EDC reviews key project aspects:
   • Capital Investment – Total financial investment
   • Sales Tax Contribution – Projected sales tax revenue
   • Job Creation – Number and type of jobs to be created
