Truliant Foundation Scholarships - General Fund Scholarships Grant

The Truliant Foundation Scholarships, established in 1996, have awarded over $265,000 to more than 250 high school seniors pursuing higher education. These scholarships, funded by the Carolinas Credit Union Foundation, are open to members of any credit union in North and South Carolina, supporting both academic and needs-based candidates, including first-time college students and high school seniors. Eligible applicants must maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher and enroll as full-time students.

Established in 1996, Truliant’s Scholarship program has awarded more than $265,000 to more than 250 high school seniors (and Truliant members) pursuing a college, community college, or university degree. The Scholarship Program is part of the Truliant Foundation.
These funds are provided by the Carolinas Credit Union Foundation. Scholarships are available to members of any credit union in North and South Carolina. Both academic and needs-based scholarships for all levels of higher education are awarded, including technical and community college scholarships.

Eligibility

In order to be eligible for consideration, you must be a member of a North or South Carolina credit union and have a non-weighted GPA of 3.0 or higher. Enrollment as a full-time student for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year is required for scholarship acceptance.Eligible applicants must be:A first-time college student
A high school senior accepted to be enrolled in an accredited college, community college, or university in Fall 2025
A dependent of a current Truliant employee, an employee retired with full benefits, or a volunteer/board member
