Background: Since its formal funding in 1961, the Tri Kappa Memorial Fund has provided assistance to Indiana college students facing financial challenges.
Purpose: Provides emergency financial assistance to college students for various needs including:
- Books
- Fees
- Rent
- Car repairs
- Medical expenses
- Other emergency needs
Eligibility:
- Indiana college students
- Facing financial challenges
- Enrolled in accredited colleges contacted annually for accountability
Process: Colleges are contacted each year and must provide an accounting of how the funds were used the previous year before new monies can be awarded.
Donations:
- Minimum $20 donation requested
- Donations may be made in memory of a loved one who has passed or in honor of someone
- When a donation is received, an acknowledgement is sent to the family of the person being remembered
