Tri Kappa Memorial Fund

Geographic Scope: Indiana (State Level)

Background: Since its formal funding in 1961, the Tri Kappa Memorial Fund has provided assistance to Indiana college students facing financial challenges.

Purpose: Provides emergency financial assistance to college students for various needs including:

  • Books

  • Fees

  • Rent

  • Car repairs

  • Medical expenses

  • Other emergency needs

    • Eligibility:

  • Indiana college students

  • Facing financial challenges

  • Enrolled in accredited colleges contacted annually for accountability

    • Process: Colleges are contacted each year and must provide an accounting of how the funds were used the previous year before new monies can be awarded.

    Donations:

  • Minimum $20 donation requested

  • Donations may be made in memory of a loved one who has passed or in honor of someone

  • When a donation is received, an acknowledgement is sent to the family of the person being remembered
