Overview: Travel grants available to members and non-members to support attendance and presentation at ISS meetings and courses.
Geographic Scope: International
Focus Areas: Support for researchers and clinicians presenting at ISS annual meetings, scientific meetings, refresher courses, and specialized courses (Rad-Path-Surg Musculoskeletal Course, Ultrasound Course).
Eligibility Requirements
- Membership: Available for both members and non-members
- Presentation Requirement: Recipient must be first author on an accepted presentation
- Eligible Presentation Types: - Members Meeting - Scientific Meeting - Refresher Course - Rad-Path-Surg Musculoskeletal Course - Ultrasound Course
- Ineligible Presentations: Authors of electronic exhibits/posters are NOT eligible
- Career Stage: Residents and Fellows are eligible if they have an accepted presentation
- Salary Cap: Recipient must have a salary up to $65,000 per year at time of application
- Application Timing: Applications must be submitted ONLY AFTER notification of acceptance of presentation
Award Considerations
- Geographic location and proximity to the meeting
- First-time or non-consecutive requests given preference
- Awards range from $500-$2,500 and are subject to change depending on needs and number of recipients

Application Process
1. Obtain Presentation Acceptance: First obtain acceptance notification for your presentation at an eligible ISS meeting or course
2. Submit Application: Send application ONLY after receiving acceptance notification
3. Required Materials:
- Application form (2026 Travel Grant Application)
- Documentation of presentation acceptance
- Proof of salary (must be $65,000 or less annually)
4. Submission Method: Email or mail to International Skeletal Society
Important Notes
- Strict Deadline: Application deadline dates are strictly adhered to
- Presentation Requirement: You must be the first author on the accepted presentation
- Timing Critical: Do NOT apply before your presentation is accepted
- No Electronic Exhibits/Posters: Authors of e-posters/exhibits are not eligible
