The European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) provides support for young oncologists to attend various educational meetings. YO Merit Awards: Throughout the year ESMO offers Merit Awards to young oncologists submitting abstracts to ESMO Meetings. The selection of Merit Award recipients is made by the Scientific Committee based on the quality of accepted abstracts.YO Travel Grants: ESMO also offer travel grants to young oncologists to attend various educational meetings.Reduced registration fees for ESMO members: ESMO offers reduced registration fees to members for all meetings. In addition, Young Oncologists who have qualified for membership as an ESMO member under 40 and in training, benefit from significantly reduced fees to enable them to attend ESMO meetings.
