TRANSPORTATION – Municipal Park and Ride Program

Supports engineering and construction of small Park and Ride facilities in Vermont communities. Electric vehicle charging stations are not eligible under this program.

Notes

A detailed sketch of the proposed work is required.Land must be owned by the municipality, owned by the State with a State Highway Access Permit, or privately owned with a minimum 20-year lease.Lots must be on or near a State highway, be available for year-round use, provide 10 or more parking spaces, and be maintained by the municipality.Collaboration with public transit providers is required when an existing or planned transit route is present.
