Overview

Transmitting Science offers Fee Waivers for PhD students and Postdocs to participate in courses that enhance scientific skills in life and earth sciences. Applicants can request waivers for upcoming courses, ensuring a reserved spot without registration. Only one waiver application per call is allowed, with a focus on supporting participants from developing nations, following the UN’s Human Development Index. Note that the waivers cover course fees only.

Participants can apply for any upcoming Transmitting Science course that is currently open for registration, and takes place at least a week after the deadline of this call.
You do not need to register for that course: if you receive a fee waiver, a spot will be reserved for you on the course.
You can only apply for one fee waiver per call. Participants who apply for more than one fee waiver per call will be disqualified from the call altogether.
Please be aware that Fee waivers cover course fees only, and not other potential costs associated with the course.
