Overview

The Our Fund Foundation's Transgender Support Initiative provides grants to nonprofit organizations serving the transgender community in South Florida. The initiative was established in response to political and social forces targeting the transgender community.

Eligible Organizations

Nonprofit organizations committed to advancing the rights and awareness of the transgender community through targeted programs and initiatives that:
• Enhance the lives of transgender individuals
• Promote inclusivity
• Serve transgender people, particularly people of color

Recent Award

In April 2024, the foundation awarded $80,000 total to five organizations:
• Arianna's Center
• McKenzie Project, Inc.
• SunServe
• Transinclusive Group
• TransSocial

Funds may be used for general operating expenses and capacity building at the discretion of organizations' executive staff.
