Traditional Undergraduate Scholarships

Geographic Scope: Van Wert County and surrounding area (Paulding and Van Wert counties)

The Van Wert County Foundation is the largest provider of scholarships in Paulding and Van Wert counties, administering over 80 scholarship funds. The foundation awards annual scholarships through an application and review process.

Eligibility:

• Students who have completed the equivalent of one year in college
• Minimum 2.75 cumulative grade point average (GPA) for initial eligibility
• Must maintain a 3.0 cumulative GPA to continue receiving scholarships in future years
• Must be local college students

Award Information:

• Annual awards (2018): 314 recipients received $896,260 combined
• Individual award amounts vary by fund
