Touchstone Energy Scholar of the Week

Award Amount: $250 per week to use as recipients wish; eligible to win larger scholarships at spring banquet

Overview: Touchstone Energy Cooperatives and Dakota News Now have joined together to recognize the achievements of high school seniors throughout the region. This program has been celebrating the achievements of high school seniors since 2002. Recipients are highly motivated high school seniors who excel in the classroom and community. Since inception, more than $90,000 in scholarships has been awarded to over 590 students.

• High school seniors
• Well-rounded individuals who excel in both the classroom and community
• U.S. citizenship (likely, based on similar programs)
