Background: This scholarship was established by the children of Tommy and Kaye Jones to honor their memory. Tommy Jones was instrumental in the development and growth of Duncan Regional Hospital, working alongside Dr. Robert James Weedn and Jack Geurkink. He was responsible for raising $10 million for the hospital project, served on the Duncan Health Authority (1976-1987), and later served on the hospital's board of directors (1987-1990). Both Tommy and Kaye loved Duncan and Duncan Regional Hospital.
