Rick Buchanan Memorial Medical Student/Resident Award

Background: This award honors Rick Buchanan, a beloved Duncan Regional Hospital team member from 1992-2014 who served as Director of Medical Recruitment. During his 22-year career, Rick was instrumental in recruiting over 60 physicians, CRNAs, and Nurse Practitioners. He was diagnosed with squamous-cell carcinoma in 2013 and passed away on August 16, 2014.
