About Timken

The Timken Company Charitable and Educational Fund, Inc. (“The Timken Fund”) Grant Program provides funds to approved, non-profit charitable organizations. Requests are granted based on both the organization’s ability to meet charitable giving criteria and the availability of charitable funds. We provide grants to Eligible Organizations (defined below). Grant requests for support outside the U.S. are directed to the appropriate local Timken management team.

Grants are generally allocated in the range of $500 – $10,000. Grant requests for more than $10,000 must be preapproved by The Timken Fund Board of Trustees (the “Board”). Applications are accepted year-round. A grant may be made outside of these guidelines provided such grant is approved by a majority of the Board.

Areas of Giving

The Timken Fund invests in organizations that can deliver measurable results and sustainable improvements in the communities where Timken and its wholly-owned subsidiaries operate.
