The Rabin Youth Arts Award

Award Purpose: Honors organizations or individuals who have made significant contributions in youth arts

    • Background:
    Established in honor of Dr. Marvin Rabin, founder of Wisconsin Youth Symphony Orchestras. Dr. Rabin was a renowned music educator and researcher of youth arts who believed it was equally important to recognize individuals and organizations supporting youth arts initiatives.

    Past Recipients:

  • 2020: Shell Lake Arts Center (Artistic Achievement) - 53+ years of youth music programming, 31,000+ participants

  • 2019: Verona Area Community Theater (VACT) (Artistic Achievement) - Founded 1992, provides 10 full productions annually, at least 7 feature children
