The Giving Loan Program

Overview: A donation program where Spokane City Credit Union makes a $50 contribution to a registered charity or nonprofit of the member's choice for each qualified loan opened.

Geographic Scope: Spokane, Washington area (SCCU service area)

How It Works:

Member takes out a qualified loan with SCCU

Member designates a registered charity or nonprofit of their choice

SCCU validates the charity/nonprofit information

SCCU makes a $50 donation in the member's name

Funds are remitted by SCCU check in the month after the loan is taken out

Eligible Organizations: Any registered charity or nonprofit (501(c)(3) tax-exempt status required)

Children's Miracle Network

Spokane Parks Foundation

Northwest Autism Center

Qualified Loans

The following loan types qualify for The Giving Loan program:
• Auto loans
• Motorcycle loans
• Boat loans
• RV loans
• Bicycle & EBike loans
• Minimum loan amount: $2,000.00

Non-Qualified Loans

The following do NOT qualify:
• VISAs/Credit Cards
• Mortgages
• Home Equity Lines of Credit
• Share-Secured Loans
• Personal Lines of Credit
• Indirect/Dealer Loans
