The Foundation for NH Community Colleges General Scholarship Application

The Foundation for New Hampshire Community Colleges awarded a record 1,650 scholarships totaling $1.1 million in the 2025–26 academic year, the highest in its 25-year history. Through 131 scholarship funds it supported students with scholarships ranging from $200 to $3,000, average award $670; funds were applied toward tuition, fees, and emergency financial needs. In 2024–25 it awarded 1,333 scholarships totaling $854,000, and for one fall alone awarded nearly 600 scholarships totaling $487,000 at an average of $814 (a 27% increase over the prior year). The Foundation administers more than 100 scholarships established by donors, with eligibility criteria set by each donor. 'With just one application, students will be considered for dozens of opportunities, regardless of their major, GPA, financial need, or part- or full-time status.' The Foundation began accepting applications for the 2026 spring semester on October 27. As of March 31, 2026 it held $10,853,740 in assets.

Registered students at any of New Hampshire's seven community colleges apply through the general application at GiveNHCC.org/scholarships — one application is considered for dozens of opportunities regardless of major, GPA, financial need, or part-/full-time status.
