The Edward M. Nagel Endowed Scholarship Grant

The Edward M. Nagel Endowed Scholarship, provided by the United Negro College Fund, supports undergraduate students pursuing business-related studies. With a focus on academic excellence and leadership, applicants must maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher and demonstrate financial need. This scholarship plays a vital role in promoting education for future leaders, reflecting UNCF's mission to empower minority students for over seventy years.

The Edward M Nagel Scholarship is open to undergraduate students pursuing studies in business (and business related majors).

Eligibility

New candidates must meet the minimum criteria for full consideration:
Cumulative grade point average (GPA) of a 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale.Full time enrollment at an accredited 4-year college or university.Pursuing a first time Bachelor's degree in a discipline related to business (ex. accounting, economics, finance, human resources)Possess a track record of leadership qualities as evidenced by earlier endeavors.Have a demonstrated financial need that will be verified by your college or university.Residency Status: U.S. national or permanent resident
Eligibility requirements for renewal are as follows:
Complete a FAFSA form.Continue to demonstrate unmet financial need as verified by their college or university.Continue to be enrolled full-time at an accredited four-year institution in good personal and academic standing.Maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.Students who do not meet the renewal criteria will be placed on a one semester grace period, while funded, to come into compliance.
