Overview

The Ecology Center offers Graduate Student Research Grants to support eligible graduate students in their research related to ecology and environmental biology. This initiative fosters educational opportunities and promotes community involvement in Louisiana's ecological diversity, providing invaluable resources for both local and external researchers.

At the University's Ecology Center, we work to support research, education, and community activities in ecology and environmental biology. We provide resources to scientists within and outside Louisiana for multi-disciplinary research, and we foster community involvement and social awareness about the importance of Louisiana's ecological diversity. We also work to educate K-12, undergraduate, and graduate students with structured classes, independent projects, and hands-on field and laboratory studies.
