The Christian Foundation

. . . supports both new and established nonprofit 501(c)(3) organizations with missions that embody or support Christian values and principles.

Our resources are far from adequate to fulfill the needs of all worthwhile programs. Consequently, many worthy programs are unable to be funded, and those that are often receive less funding than deserved.

Applications are evaluated on the basis of need and without partiality or restriction in the field of sectarian religion.

Eligibility

* If your organization meets the requirements outlined below, we invite you to apply:

* Recognized as tax-exempt by the IRS under section 501(c)(3) of the Code

* A total annual budget of less than $1,500,000
* The program for which you are requesting funds supports one or more of the following:

* Providing needed facilities or services for which public funds (including but not limited to Medicaid and Medicare) are not available or not sufficient, and for which the Foundation’s contribution would have a significant impact
* Providing human services needed by the elderly, disabled, or economically disadvantaged
* Encouraging, promoting or teaching economic self-sufficiency among the homeless and economically disadvantaged
* Creating constructive programs for the young, elderly, or Christian ministry
* Providing employment for the idle

Ineligibility

* We do not fund organizations or programs outside the United States.

* The Foundation does not generally consider requests for:

* Research

* Long-term operations support

* Building fund campaigns

* Debt reduction

* Endowments, or 

* Programs that influence legislation or elections
