APF encourages nominations of psychologists whose outstanding psychological research and impact has not been sufficiently recognized and of psychologists from diverse backgrounds with respect to age, race, color, religion, creed, nationality, ability, sexual orientation, gender, and geography.Psychologists with a doctoral degree at any stage are eligible to be nominated.International applicants from countries that have diplomatic relations with the United States and who meet the other eligibility requirements may apply for APF funding.You can apply to as many APF programs as you like. Researchers can win multiple awards for different projects. Each individual project, however, can only win once.Ineligibility
APF does not allow institutional indirect/administrative/overhead costs and/or fees to be taken out of grant monies.APF Trustees and Honorary Trustees are not eligible to be nominated or to nominate others for an APF Gold Medal.
