TEXO Distinguished Building Awards

Overview: TEXO Member companies are encouraged to submit their building projects for a TEXO Distinguished Building Award. These awards are recognized as one of the most prestigious awards in the nation and embody the skill, commitment and passion that TEXO Members have for construction.

Geographic Scope: North Texas (TEXO service area)

Key Details:

  • Companies can submit applications in 36 different building and specialty categories

  • Projects must have completed construction within the 2025 calendar year

  • Awards are judged and recognized during the 2026 calendar year
  • Eligibility:

  • TEXO Member companies only
  • Recognition:

  • All first-place and merit winners are eligible to compete in the National ABC Excellence in Construction Awards

  • All first-place winners automatically submitted to AGC-Texas Building Branch Outstanding Construction Awards competition

  • Public recognition during the TEXO DBA Recognition Dinner in August

  • Recognition in Q3/Q4 IN FOCUS magazine

  • 2026 winners celebrated at Stature Aviation on Thursday, April 23, 2026

    Application Process

    1. Choose the category your project best fits based on guidelines provided
    2. Complete the online application form
    3. Attach all required files (see Project Entry Requirements)
    4. Pay submission fee online via credit card

    Deadline: Friday, January 30, 2026 at 5:00pm CT (Next cycle: January 30, 2027)
