  • Watch Lists: Initial lists announced in February with additions in first round (March)

  • Second Round Additions: Announced in late March

  • Nominees: Field narrowed to 25 men and 25 women in mid-April (may include players not on Watch Lists)

  • Finalists: Five men and five women finalists announced in early May

  • Award Ceremony: Held in Washington, D.C. in late May
  • Selection Committees:

  • Comprised of 16 men's and 15 women's current college coaches

  • Appointed annually by The Tewaaraton Foundation

  • Led by chairs and vice chairs (USA Lacrosse National Lacrosse Hall of Fame coaches)

  • 2025 Selection Committee: Chairs Jack Emmer (men's) and Alicia Groveston (women's); Vice Chairs Bill Tierney (men's) and Chris Sailer (women's)
