Overview: Downtown Dallas, Inc., in partnership with the City of Dallas, developed a program to assist local businesses during challenging times by allowing temporary use of outdoor spaces adjacent to business locations.
Purpose: Enable businesses to utilize outdoor parklet spaces on a temporary basis as social distancing requirements changed business operations.

Application Process
1. Contact DDI Directly

- DDI will guide interested businesses through the entire process
2. Permit Application
- Applications are submitted through the City of Dallas Office of Special Events

3. DDI Support During Application
- DDI provides design and permit assistance
- DDI covers permit fees on applicant's behalf
- DDI loans furniture and traffic control devices as needed
