Geographic Scope: New Mexico

Participating Institutions:

• Northern New Mexico College (NNMC)
• Central New Mexico College (CNM)

Program Overview:
Technical Trade School scholarships totaling $14,000 are available to support students pursuing skilled trades and technical certifications at Northern New Mexico College and Central New Mexico College.

Award Amounts

Northern New Mexico College - $7,000 total:

• 1 award at $2,000
• 5 awards at $1,000

Central New Mexico College - $7,000 total:

• 1 award at $2,000
• 5 awards at $1,000

Eligibility Requirements

• Major/Program Declaration: Must declare a major in one of the NNMC or CNM Technical Trades Programs or designate a certificate program in the skilled trade area
• Enrollment: Must be enrolled for a minimum of 6 credit hours
• Citizenship: Must be a U.S. citizen
• Residency: Must be a New Mexico resident
• Financial Need: Must demonstrate financial need as defined by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
