Take Stock in Children® Program

Geographic Scope: Brevard Public Schools, Brevard County, Florida

Program Description: A comprehensive youth development program that provides scholarships, mentorship, and support to help students achieve academic and personal success.

Funding: Operating support grants received from partner organizations (e.g., $1,000 grant from The Allstate Foundation)

Participants: Nearly 200 students in Brevard Public Schools

Program Requirements: Students commit to:

• Remain crime and drug-free
• Maintain good discipline and grades
• Meet regularly with a mentor

Benefits to Participants:

• College scholarship upon graduation
• Consistent mentorship from community volunteers
• Hope and support for academic success
