A scholarship program made possible by philanthropists Bob and Wanda Swoszowski to help students pay for their education in nursing and allied health fields. Five nursing and allied health students were initially selected as recipients.

The Swoszowski Scholarship was dedicated on June 18, 2014, alongside The Fraser Resource Center at Northeast Georgia Medical Center (NGMC). The donors created this opportunity to help individuals follow their educational dreams when it might not be possible otherwise. Recipients have described the scholarship as essential to pursuing their dreams of healthcare careers.
