NOTE: Pre Proposal deadline is the final day to submit questions.Overview The FS 5: Supporting Student Veterans and Their Families RFP seeks to allocate VSHSL funds to provide financial assistance and wraparound supports for King County Veterans and Veteran Family members enrolled in Post-secondary Programs, including, but not limited to, colleges, universities, and trade schools. This will be a pilot program to explore a new avenue to reach Veterans and support their educational aspirations. King County intends to award 2-4 applicants using the funds available to DCHS for this program, using equity and geographic considerations to ensure services are responsive to funding priorities and community need. Any contract awarded as a result of this procurement is contingent upon the availability of funding. Applicants should request only what they can spend, with the expectation that the awarded initial amount will increase by 5% each year for the program period starting in 2026.Eligibility
