Charitable Giving "People helping people" is at the core of what we do. Placing a holistic emphasis on giving, we strive to develop strong relationships with community partners, imagining what we can do together to make a difference. We focus on working with organizations that support these initiatives: Advancing Equity Reducing inequities by helping ensure that all people have the resources to reach success. Financial Wellbeing Providing access to financial resources, education and opportunities to build economic wellbeing. Women's Empowerment Fostering leadership, providing access to education and promoting the economic wellbeing of women and girls.

Eligibility

Eligible organizations will meet the following criteria: Organizations that are defined as nonprofit under 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Service.Organizations that serve communities within Summit Credit Union’s areas of operation (see locations here).Request is submitted using our online application below. Membership at Summit Credit Union will be considered but does not guarantee support. Organization supports one or all of Summit’s Community Giving Pillars: Financial wellbeing, women’s empowerment and advancing equity.

Summit Credit Union Does Not Provide Funding For:  Individuals  Religious organizations  Political organizations  At this time, Summit Credit Union is not accepting requests for capital campaign support. We remain committed to supporting initiatives that align with our community giving pillar initiatives.  Organizations that discriminate for any reason, including on the basis of race, religion, age, sexual orientation, sex, gender identity and cultural background.
