Summit Credit Union Grant

The Summit Credit Union Grant emphasizes charitable giving through partnerships that support equity, financial wellbeing, and women's empowerment. Committed to reducing inequities, the credit union seeks nonprofit organizations that align with these pillars to foster community growth. Eligibility criteria include being a 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving specific areas and submitting an online application. However, funding is not available for individuals, religious or political organizations, or any entities that discriminate based on various identities.

Charitable Giving
We focus on working with organizations that support these initiatives:

• Advancing Equity
• Reducing inequities by helping ensure that all people have the resources to reach success.
• Financial Wellbeing
• Providing access to financial resources, education and opportunities to build economic wellbeing.
• Women's Empowerment
• Fostering leadership, providing access to education and promoting the economic wellbeing of women and girls.

Eligibility

Eligible organizations will meet the following criteria:
Organizations that are defined as nonprofit under 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Service.Organizations that serve communities within Summit Credit Union’s areas of operation (see locations here).Request is submitted using our online application below.
Membership at Summit Credit Union will be considered but does not guarantee support.
Organization supports one or all of Summit’s Community Giving Pillars: Financial wellbeing, women’s empowerment and advancing equity.

Ineligibility

Summit Credit Union Does Not Provide Funding For:

• Individuals
• Religious organizations
• Political organizations

At this time, Summit Credit Union is not accepting requests for capital campaign support.
Organizations that discriminate for any reason, including on the basis of race, religion, age, sexual orientation, sex, gender identity and cultural background.
