Overview

The Summer Dance Intensive offers professional dance training for students ages 14 and older. The two-week program focuses on technical training in ballet, modern, and hip hop, with additional master classes in African dance, Jazz, Improvisation, Pilates, Contemporary Repertoire, Injury Prevention, and Yoga. The program culminates in an informal presentation.

Eligibility

• Age: 14 years and older
• Prior Experience: Previous dance training required
• High School Graduation: For college credit option, graduation date of 2028 or prior with at least three years of dance training

Program Options

• 2-week Intensive: July 20-31, 2026
• 1-week Intensive: July 20-25, 2026
• Residential Option: Available for SDI participants (not Youth SDI)

College Credit Opportunity

Scholarship Information

• Limited number of scholarships available for exceptional students
• Scholarships available only for two-week intensive enrollment
• Awards given as tuition discount (do not include room and board)
• Scholarship application deadline: May 1, 2026
