The Student Communities Award, presented by the American Chemical Society, recognizes outstanding achievements of ACS student communities based on their programs and activities. Awardees will be celebrated at the ACS Spring Meeting. Eligible groups must submit their reports by May 31 annually to qualify for consideration.

Overview

Purpose To provide recognition for ACS student communities on the basis of their programs and activities. Description Awards available to student communities are Outstanding, Commendable, and Honorable Mention. Groups can also apply to the Green Chemistry Student Communities Award. Student communities participate in setting goals, budgeting, chapter development, service and outreach, and professional development. Student communities that receive an award are recognized during a ceremony at the ACS Spring Meeting.
