Overview

Purpose To provide recognition for ACS student communities on the basis of their programs and activities. Description Awards available to student communities are Outstanding, Commendable, and Honorable Mention. Groups can also apply to the Green Chemistry Student Communities Award. Student communities participate in setting goals, budgeting, chapter development, service and outreach, and professional development. Student communities that receive an award are recognized during a ceremony at the ACS Spring Meeting.
