Geographic Scope

• Indian River County (IRC), Florida

Eligibility

• Must be 501(c)(3) charitable organization (or applying for 501(c)(3) status)
• Must operate within and serve Indian River County
• Requests that are significant exceptions to regular Annual Grants Guidelines

Process

• Separate Strategic Grant Committee reviews proposals
• Committee makes funding recommendations
• Approved proposals go to full Board for vote
• Board votes can be conducted via email

Application Process

1. Application Method: Email inquiry to strategicgrants@jicsl.org
2. Proposal Requirements:
   • Description of request type (start-up, off-cycle, multi-agency, strategic plan, initial audit, etc.)
   • Demonstration that request falls outside regular annual grant guidelines
   • Alignment with JICSL mission
   • Financial information and supporting documents as appropriate
3. Review Process:
   • Executive Committee (Senior Advisory Team) approval for exceptions
   • Separate Strategic Grant Committee review
   • Full Board vote for funding recommendation
   • Votes conducted via email or in-person
