STOP Violence Against Women Act Grant Program

Funds awarded to states to create and enhance comprehensive, positive changes in the criminal justice system's response to domestic and intimate partner violence, dating violence, sexual assault, human trafficking, and stalking. Funds distributed based on census population data. Promotes and coordinates community and statewide responses among criminal justice system and victim advocacy organizations including medical services, mental health providers and other entities responding to needs of victims of domestic and intimate partner violence, dating violence, sexual assault, human trafficking and stalking.
