Overview
Society of Teachers of Family Medicine (STFM) Founded in 1967, the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine (STFM) is a national community of academic leaders committed to developing an accomplished family medicine workforce, prepared to serve as the foundation of America’s health care system. Our members include physicians, PAs, nurse practitioners, behavioral health specialists, researchers, pharmacists, nurses and other health care professionals, health system executives, administrators, coordinators, fellows, residents, students, and others involved in the education of family physicians. STFM New Faculty Scholars Program The STFM New Faculty Scholars Programs helps early career family medicine faculty develop leadership and scholarship skills. Scholars receive 1 year of the New Faculty Scholars coaching, learning, and networking opportunities with senior leadership and other new family medicine faculty.Eligibility
You can learn more about this opportunity by visiting the funder's website. Be a current member of STFM. Preference will be given to individuals who have shown active engagement in STFM. This could be demonstrated by actively participating in an STFM collaboration and/or presenting at an STFM conference (these should be noted on the applicant's biosketch)Be a faculty member (at least .8 FTE) at a family medicine department or family medicine residency program and employed in academic family medicine for a minimum of 2 years and no more than 4 years at time of application deadline You must be a member of this organization to apply for this award - become a member.Focus Areas & Funding Uses
