Stewardship Community Bursary Grant

The Stewardship Community Bursary, offered by the Pacific Salmon Foundation, provides $2,500 bursaries annually to support students in B.C. and Yukon who are passionate about salmon conservation. This initiative aims to reduce financial barriers and nurture the next generation of stewards committed to salmon recovery. Priority is given to applicants with relevant volunteer experience. Eligible candidates must be residents, demonstrate financial need, and be enrolled full-time in a related educational program.

Every year, PSF’s Stewardship Community Bursary program awards bursaries worth $2,500 to support multiple students in B.C. and the Yukon with a passion for salmon conservation and restoration.
Applicants with demonstrated volunteer/work experience in salmon stewardship groups will be given priority.

Eligibility

Eligible applicants must be residents of B.C. or the Yukon, demonstrate financial need, and be enrolled full-time in a B.C. university or college in a program related to Pacific salmon. Applicant needs to:Resident of B.C. or the Yukon

Enrolled full-time (minimum 12 credit hours) in at least the second year of an education or training program at a recognized B.C. or Yukon college, university or technical institute
