State Street Foundation As a global organization, we recognize the role we play in supporting the economic vitality of our communities. Through State Street Foundation, our charitable arm, we make grants to nonprofits and non-governmental organizations, with a focus on creating lasting economic benefits in the communities where we live and work. The Foundation invests in high-performing nonprofits that are achieving measurable results in basic education, college success and credentials, and employability. We know that being a good corporate citizen drives employee engagement, enhances our reputation with clients and potential employees, improves brand recognition and builds public trust. In addition to financial support, the Foundation also manages a charitable board matching program, providing training and support for State Street employees to serve as members of boards of directors for charitable organizations.
