Staff Support - Employee Appreciation Fund and Emergency Assistance

One-time funds available to meet staff financial emergencies. Additionally, the Foundation processes funds raised annually by the Residents' Association as year-end appreciation gifts to staff.

Purpose:

• Emergency financial assistance for staff
• Year-end appreciation gifts funded by Residents' Association

Geographic Scope: Residences at Vantage Point, Columbia, MD

Award Type: One-time emergency funds

Eligibility:

• Employees of Residences at Vantage Point
• Financial emergency must occur through no fault of their own
• Approved application required

What is Funded: Staff financial emergencies (housing, medical, personal crises, etc.)

Application Process: Upon approved application through RVP's Human Resources Department. Decisions made by Foundation Board in adherence to Approved Policy.

Application Process

1. Submit emergency assistance request to RVP's Human Resources Department
2. Complete Funding Request Form (available in writing)
3. Describe the financial emergency and circumstances
4. Human Resources forwards to Foundation for review
5. Foundation Board of Directors reviews and approves
6. Decisions made in adherence to Approved Policy

Required Materials:

• Completed Funding Request Form
• Documentation of financial emergency
• Evidence that emergency occurred through no fault of applicant's own
• Details of assistance needed
