The Foundation exists as a charitable arm of St. Marys Methodist Church, and makes grants to nonprofit, tax-exempt agencies and ministries that respond to people in need locally, nationally and internationally. Mission As “stewards of the manifold grace of God,” the Foundation’s mission is to be a lasting, effective, and compassionate charitable resource for agencies in Southeast Georgia, the nation and the world that respond to people in need, for organizations related to Methodism, and for organizations that promote evangelical Christianity. Vision The Foundation envisions an improved quality of life for people in Southeast Georgia, the nation and the world. Priorities & Values The Foundation is guided by values of humility, responsibility, compassion, partnership and faithful stewardship rooted in its Wesleyan heritage. It gives priority to grantmaking that: Supports children, youth, families, adults and elderly through programs promoting spiritual, mental and physical well-being;Advances health, mental health and disability services;Promotes Christian education, evangelism and missions;Targets both local needs in Southeast Georgia and global initiatives in alignment with its faith-based mission.
