Program Background:
For over a decade, FAITH has encouraged young speakers by awarding scholarships to the winners of the junior and senior divisions of the National St. John Chrysostom Oratorical Festival. Since 2007, FAITH has supported approximately 25 scholarship awards annually.

Festival Purpose:
The festival gives students a local and national platform to write and speak about the impact their heritage and identities have in their lives and contemporary culture. Finalists have shared perspectives on topics such as:

Utilizing science and technology within the Greek community

Representing Greek Orthodox values in education

Building Greek Orthodox friendships

Promoting positivity within social media culture

Eligibility:

Must be a finalist in the National St. John Chrysostom Oratorical Festival (junior or senior division)

To qualify for FAITH-sponsored scholarship, applicant must apply through the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America (GOA)
