Geographic Scope: Essex, Middlesex, and Suffolk Counties of Massachusetts; retirees of the City of Revere and Town of Winthrop, Massachusetts

    Eligibility

  • Target Audience: High school seniors enrolling in an undergraduate college degree program during the 2026-2027 academic year
  • Membership Requirement: Applicant or parent/guardian must be a member of St. Jean's Credit Union
  • Membership Eligibility: Membership is open to anyone who:
  • - Lives or works in Essex, Middlesex, or Suffolk Counties of Massachusetts - Is a retiree of the City of Revere or Town of Winthrop, Massachusetts - Is an immediate family member (spouse, son, daughter, mother, father, sister, or brother) - Is an employee of H.P. Hood
  • Membership Cost: $25 minimum deposit to become a member

    Selection Criteria

    The Foundation Board of Trustees evaluates applications based on:
  • Essay quality
  • Academic grades and GPA
  • Community service involvement

Application Requirements

Each applicant must provide the following materials:

1. Completed Scholarship Form
- St. Jean's Credit Union Charitable Foundation scholarship form (available for download from website)

2. Essay
- Typewritten personal essay
- Copy of the personal essay submitted with college applications

3. Academic Transcript
- Current grades
- GPA included
