St. Anne's Credit Union Community Donations

Purpose: Support 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organizations in Massachusetts and Rhode Island service communities

Geographic Scope: Massachusetts and Rhode Island

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be a Massachusetts or Rhode Island not-for-profit entity

  • Must be tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code

  • Must have received a permanent or advance IRS Determination letter

  • Must be classified as a publicly supported charity under Sections 170(b)(1)(A)(6) or (a)(2)

  • Only one application per agency within a 12-month period

  • Previously approved donations must be completed before new requests can be submitted

  • Local school partnerships

  • Community organizations
  • Organizations NOT Eligible:

  • Individuals or families

  • Religious organizations (unless program is community-oriented)

  • Political activities/candidates

  • City, town, state, or federal agencies

  • Travel expense funding requests

  • Paid solicitors
  • Funding Limitations:

  • Not all applications are granted

  • Not all requested amounts are funded

  • Consecutive three-year period maximum per organization

  • After three years, organizations must suspend requests for at least one full calendar year before reapplying
