Making philanthropy easy—and effective Since 2001, The Catholic Community Foundation has supported effective philanthropy in Southeastern Wisconsin through two primary roles: For donors: Establish permanent charitable funds to create long-lasting support for the causes individuals and families care about.For parishes, schools and other Catholic organizations: Provide cost-effective, socially responsible investment management to keep endowment assets growing.As a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) corporation, the Foundation is independent of the Archdiocese of Milwaukee.  The Foundation focuses on four priority areas: education; leadership development; health care for the under-served in Milwaukee; and community-building to strengthen families, parishes and those suffering from poverty, discrimination, and violence. The Catholic Community Foundation awards grants for limited-term projects and programs Health care in Milwaukee Awarding grants from a fund established by the St. Anthony Foundation for organizations providing health care services in Milwaukee, especially in central city areas formerly served by St. Anthony Hospital.
