Specialty Grants- Gilmore Inclusive Arts Grant

The Gilmore Inclusive Arts Grant supports projects that engage individuals with disabilities in Northeast Indiana's arts communities. Annually, applications open in May and close in September, with funding up to $25,000. Organizations must be 501(c)(3) compliant, and priority is given to impactful projects. Collaboration is encouraged, ensuring diverse participation in the arts. This grant aims to foster inclusivity and enhance the cultural landscape by empowering individuals with disabilities.

NOTE: Application opens the first Friday of May and closes the last Friday of September each year. Announcement of recipient will go along with our Fall grantmaking cycle in mid-November.
How We Do It
As a grantmaking organization, we work with community partners who implement our vision on a practical level.
Our grants support nonprofit organizations with their programs, capital needs and operations, and fund opportunities that fit our priority initiatives and enhance the lives of people with disabilities.

We have three grant types.

Eligibility

Requirements:Applications should be for a new program or project inclusive of those with disabilities (as defined under focus).Must be located in Northeast Indiana.An organization can only receive a Gilmore Grant as a primary applicant once.Funding is for programming and capital only.If the project is ongoing, applicants will be asked for a plan of sustainability.Applicants need to be part of a 501(c)(3). If an individual would like to apply, they should find a 501(c)(3) partner.
