Special Excellence Annual Scholarship Grant

The Special Excellence Annual Scholarship, offered by the CIRI Foundation, supports full-time students in 4-year undergraduate or graduate programs who demonstrate exceptional academic achievements and community service. With awards up to $20,000 for one academic year, this merit-based scholarship emphasizes the importance of maintaining a minimum GPA of 3.7 and encourages contributions to the Alaska Native community. This initiative fosters educational success and economic self-sufficiency among Alaska Natives and their descendants.

Our primary goal is to encourage the education and career development of Alaska Native beneficiaries through various funding opportunities.

TCF offers competitive, merit-based scholarships to full-time degree-seeking students to recognize academic excellence and contributions to the Alaska Native community.
Award Terms
Evaluated on purpose statement, community service, and intent to contribute to the Alaska Native community.Paid in two installments: Must maintain funding requirements to be eligible for the second payment.
Funding covers direct educational expenses and up to $500 per term for personal expenses if other costs are covered.
