    2. Submit separate application from installation grant applications

    3. Application Timing:
    - Accepted during same funding cycles as installation grants
    - Spring 2018 round: Deadline April 9, 2018
    - Fall 2018 round: Deadline November 13, 2018 at 5:00 PM
    - Applications reviewed on first-come, first-served basis

    4. Award Decisions:
    - Announced within 2-3 weeks of deadline

    5. Process:
    - Identify professional solar contractor for site assessment or engineering review
    - Submit application for grant funding
    - Grant pays for professional services directly
