Soccer Assist Grant

Purpose: Provide financial support to clubs and organizations offering youth soccer programs.

Geographic Scope: Kansas, Missouri, Iowa, Arkansas, Nebraska, and Oklahoma

Eligibility:

• Organization must offer youth soccer programming
• Must be incorporated in one of the specified states (KS, MO, IA, AR, NE, OK)

Ineligible Recipients:

• Sporting City East clubs and athletes
• Sporting City West clubs and athletes
• Sporting City North clubs and athletes

What Funds Can Support:

• Club fees underwriting
• League registration
• Uniforms
• Equipment
• Transportation
• Tournament fees
• Other miscellaneous soccer-related expenses

What Funds Cannot Support:

• Salaries

Review Process:

• Applications reviewed on a rolling basis
• Organizations may be awarded no more than twice in a calendar year

Disqualification Criteria:

• Fails to meet requirements or is ineligible
• Provides false information
• Acts in harassing or unsportsmanlike manner
• Tampering with program operation

Application Requirements

Required Materials:

1. Statement (maximum 650 words) that includes:
   • Amount of funding requested
   • Description of how funds will be utilized
   • How the sport of soccer fulfills the organization's mission
