Small Project Grant Program

Organizations can apply for funding to support projects that align with the Charleston County Park & Recreation Commission's mission and benefit the community.

Geographic Scope: Charleston County, South Carolina

Focus Areas:

• Projects that support CCPRC's mission: "to improve the quality of life in Charleston County by offering a diverse system of park facilities, programs and services"
• Projects that provide public benefit to the community
• Projects with demonstrated long-term support and stewardship plans

Eligibility:

• Organizations (specific nonprofit vs. for-profit status not specified in content)
• Must demonstrate mission alignment with CCPRC
• Must show public benefit
• Must provide plan for ongoing maintenance and stewardship

Requirements for Selected Organizations:

• Provide ongoing maintenance for any project improvements
• Indemnify CCPRC as part of the agreement
• Maintain liability insurance and submit proof of insurance with application

Important Notes:

• All funding is contingent upon CCPRC's receipt of PARD funds
• Funding remains subject to budgetary approval
