We do this by: providing services to donorsbuilding and managing permanent endowments for the communitysupporting the nonprofit sector through grants and trainingscontributing leadership and civic engagement Grants At Skagit Community Foundation, we know that nonprofit organizations are essential for a healthy and vibrant community. ​SCF supports local not-for-profits throughout the grant cycle process. The equal-opportunity process accepts a variety of funding requests ranging from basic human needs, arts & culture, youth development & education, animal welfare, and more. Funding While SCF does not have set minimums and maximums, grant awards have ranged from $500 - $35,000, but the average grant is typically between $7,000 - $12,000.
