Silver Family Foundation Grant

The Silver Family Foundation Grant supports transformative youth development programs aimed at underserved youth aged 5-18 in Oregon, Washington, and Idaho. Organizations eligible to apply must be 501(c)(3) non-profits and focus on long-term investments rather than one-time events. The foundation prioritizes mentoring, academic support, and programs that address both educational and emotional needs of youth, aiming to inspire them for future success in college and careers.

NOTE: The Foundation does not accept unsolicited grant proposals. All organizations must first complete the LOI process.

The Silver Family Foundation strives to support positive youth development by making grants to non-profits in Oregon, Washington and Idaho that work with at-risk youth. Focus Areas
We prioritize programs that:

• Mentor school-age youth through structured, ongoing relationships
• Provide academic intervention and support to help students achieve benchmark reading levels
• Inspire, support, and teach students to excel in school and beyond
• Support each child's academic needs along with their social and emotional health
• Prepare students for college and career through preparatory programs and retention efforts
• Focus on high school completion and post-secondary preparation
