Siemens: Charitable or Product Donations Grant

Siemens Healthineers supports charitable donations that align with its focus areas, including diagnostic imaging and oncology. They prioritize well-rated organizations that allocate a significant portion of donations to clinical efforts rather than administrative costs. Events must ensure at least 65% of funds go to the intended cause. Local chapters of national nonprofits should coordinate with their national teams for requests, as Siemens typically does not entertain separate local requests.

Siemens Healthineers is committed to providing charitable donations, product donations, educational grants, exhibiting opportunities, in-kind product loans, and sponsorships for initiatives that meet Siemens Healthineers’ established guidelines and criteria.

Eligibility

Charitable donation requests that correlate with Siemens Healthineers business and focus areas.For charitable donations, Siemens Healthineers is currently supporting the focus areas of:
Diagnostic & Interventional ImagingLaboratory DiagnosticsCardiologyOncologyThe beneficiary/requesting organization must be a U.S. organization.Any given event must also be funded by other organizations as well.Sponsorships or sponsorship bundlesWhen appropriate, Siemens Healthineers sponsors a beneficiary organization directly.Any charitable fundraiser, such as a gala being sponsored, must provide at minimum 65% of the funds to the intended cause vs. administrative/event expenses (e.g., a $1,000 gala contribution, a minimum of $650 must go to the intended cause while $350 or less could be going to support the costs of the gala).Gala events must be geared towards Siemens Healthineers focus areas in Cardiology, Diagnostic & Interventional Imaging, Laboratory Diagnostics and Oncology education or research only.Local chapters of national non-profits: please contact your national team to identify and submit an annual request to Siemens Healthineers. We are unfortunately unable, in most circumstances, to entertain separate requests from local entities.For Donations, we ask whether your organization has requested previous support. It is unusual for Siemens Healthineers to grant multiple donations to the same organization within one year.

Ineligibility

Examples of funding or events generally not supported; Fundraisers supporting direct patient or community initiatives, Health Fairs, Bike Rides, Golf Outings and Walk/Run events.The fundraising is not accomplished via a sporting event.Siemens Healthineers will not fund programs/activities after the start date has passed.We cannot be sole supporter.Direct-to-beneficiary: Siemens Healthineers does not sponsor third-parties to support donation efforts (e.g., Siemens Healthineers will not contribute to a hospital's fundraiser to benefit a charitable organization).Siemens Healthineers employees may not submit a request on behalf of an organization.Funding support cannot be used for any of the following:Construction, capital improvements or equipment purchase
Endowments, general operations costs, or salaries of employees.
International programs, even if the charity is a U.S. organization.
Individuals.
Religious or political initiatives.
