Short-Term Financial Assistance

Assists eligible Missouri Masons, their wives or widows, and Eastern Star ladies in good standing who are experiencing an unexpected and temporary period of financial hardship, typically caused by recent job loss or serious illness.

Assistance Duration

• Typical period: 1 to 6 months
• Assistance provided with anticipation that financial hardship will be resolved

Monthly Expenses

• Rent or mortgage payments
• Household expenses (utilities, pharmacy bills, groceries, etc.)

One-Time Assistance

• Hearing aids or eyeglasses
• Medical bills
• Dental bills
• Insurance payments
• Adaptive and assistive devices

Eligibility

• Missouri Masons in good standing
• Wives or widows of Missouri Masons in good standing
• Eastern Star ladies in good standing
• Must demonstrate financial need
• Must complete application

Required Information

• Complete application demonstrating financial need
• Proof of Missouri Masonic membership and good standing
• Verification of continuous good standing requirement based on age when raised

• Demonstration that hardship is anticipated to be resolved within 1-6 months
